Job Summary
The Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the assigned production area, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for leading small teams of associates in all aspects of safety, quality, housekeeping, production and production reporting within their area of responsibility.
- Read & understand prints and manufacturing orders.
- Understand containment procedure (TS-WI.8.3-04) statistical control process charts
- Correctly use electronic scales and required gauges.
- Use production report to schedule operators.
- Perform setups for operators.
- See that all jobs are set up properly with all things necessary to do the job, including components and paperwork.
- Print and verify labels for MO’s.
- Order components from warehouse.
- Pull finished pallets to warehouse. Scan product into warehouse location and move product from one area to another.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Basic level of computer literacy, basic mechanical and basic math skills.
- Sit, walk or stand (concrete flooring and changing temperatures).
- Be able to work closely with coworkers.
- Self-motivated with ability to work with limited supervision.
- Machine Setup Experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
