Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) located in Columbus, OH. The LPN will provide direct patient care, assist physicians and other healthcare providers, administer medications, record vital signs, maintain accurate patient medical records, and offer patient education and support. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, the LPN will ensure quality and compassionate care across various healthcare settings.
Qualifications
- Strong patient care skills, including administering medication, recording vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures
- Proficiency in maintaining detailed and accurate medical records and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and teamwork with healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of healthcare protocols and compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Ohio
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
- Prior experience in a medical or clinical setting is a plus
