Residential Construction Superintendent

Job Summary:Award winning residential real estate development company, Dilan Homes is seeking a hands-on Construction Superintendent to oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities in accordance with project blueprints, budgets, and schedules. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive field experience, and the ability to ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient project delivery. Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and manage construction work according to project priorities and plans.Schedule, monitor, and maximize field productivity.Control field costs and oversee subcontractor performance to ensure cost-efficient work execution.Maintain working knowledge of owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.Track scheduled delivery dates for all critical materials and equipment.Manage submittal schedules and monitor crew attendance.Ensure adequate manpower, materials, and resources on-site.Enforce safety protocols and maintain quality standards.Assist with resolving scope conflicts and on-site challenges.Provide regular progress reports to managers, engineers etc. Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of construction management experience in a field supervisory role.Proven success in delivering large, complex projects from start to finish.Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors, crews, and suppliers effectively.Strong understanding of construction processes, including scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.Knowledge of safety and government regulations (e.g., OSHA) with a track record of effective implementation.Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Compensation:Competitive; compensation commensurate with experience.Company DescriptionEstablished in 2007, Since breaking ground on our first renovation in 2007, Dilan Homes has built a flawless reputation in Washington, DC as an experienced and trustworthy developer.
