What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Daycare Pack Leader position at Digs Dog Care?
We are now hiring energetic and fun-loving people who enjoy working with animals. This job comes with a pay rate starting at $14 per hour based on experience, and you can bring your pet to work! Doggy Daycare Attendants can bring up to 2 dogs for free DayPlay when they’re on duty. You’ll work with friendly teammates in a supportive, happy, work environment. Part-time and full-time hours are available!
Qualifications:
- Dog or animal experience preferred, but not required
- Customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and bend repetitively
- Ability to lift and carry dogs and equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Availability to work some weekends and holidays
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ability to work while continuously on your feet showing the dogs attention and care
- Proactively address behavior in a timely manner with approved methods. Woof’s has zero-tolerance for mishandling of animals or using non-approved animal management methods
- Continually monitor dogs and keep the play areas free of messes by continual spot cleaning throughout the shift
- Follow standard cleaning procedures including proper use of chemicals to ensure a safe environment for animals and people
- Understand and follow the feeding, medication, and allergy lists to ensure that all health standards are met consistently
- Work cohesively and respectfully with your teammates
- Maintain a positive attitude and demeanor in all aspects of your position including room management and customer service
