Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Family Service Counselor based in Laurel, MD. The Family Service Counselor will support families through the process of making funeral, cemetery, or cremation arrangements. Responsibilities include educating families on available services and options, facilitating arrangements, providing compassionate guidance, and assisting in pre-need planning. The role also involves proactive lead generation and nurturing long-term client relationships.

- Ability to handle Lead Generation and provide tailored service options
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to support families with empathy and professionalism
- Knowledge or experience with CRM databases
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Capability to work in an on-site, team-oriented environment

- Knowledge of the funeral or death care industry is an asset but not required
