Duties
- Provide spiritual counseling and Christian-based support tailored to individual patient needs, respecting diverse beliefs and backgrounds

- Lead educational sessions, teaching about grief processes, hospice care principles, and spiritual well-being to patients, families, and staff
- Deliver engaging public speaking presentations on topics related to end-of-life care, spiritual resilience, and crisis management
- Plan and coordinate community outreach events or memorial services that promote hospice awareness and spiritual comfort
- Assist in crisis intervention by providing emotional support during emergencies or sudden patient declines
- Mentor healthcare team members on spiritual care best practices and conflict management strategies
Experience
- Prior experience in hospice care or palliative services demonstrating a deep understanding of end-of-life issues
- Strong background in bereavement support, Christian counseling, or related spiritual guidance roles
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in teaching or mentoring others within healthcare or community settings
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver compelling presentations and facilitate meaningful conversations
- Skilled in event planning, public speaking, crisis intervention, and conflict management to effectively serve diverse populations
- Demonstrated proficiency in crisis management techniques to handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism
- Valid certification or licensure as a chaplain or spiritual counselor preferred; relevant training in crisis intervention or mental health is a plus
