Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Hospital Medicine Program Coordinator, you will coordinate physician operations and provide lead clerical support for the Hospital Medicine Department, ensuring efficient patient flow and administrative functions.
Every day you will manage patient census, e-billing reconciliation, physician assignments, and prepare various reports and logs. You will also facilitate patient/physician tracking, act as a key liaison, and maintain office organization.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional organizational and administrative skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication abilities to support the smooth operation of the Hospital Medicine Program.
This is a part-time position, providing multi-site coverage to Mercy San Juan, Mercy General, Mercy Folsom, Methodist, Sierra Nevada Medical Hospital, and Woodland Hospital.

Pay Range
$30.08 - $34.64 /hour

This is a part-time position, providing multi-site coverage to Mercy San Juan, Mercy General, Mercy Folsom, Methodist, Sierra Nevada Medical Hospital, and Woodland Hospital.
Accurately and consistently provides oversight for and prepares Hospitalist census reports through daily tracking and coordination of patient flow within the Hospitalist Program including "hot lists"- Oversees the completion and reconciliation of the E-billing system and works with the Business Office to assure timely completion
- Provides central coordination of patient admissions and assignments to physicians
- Prepares and develops logs, records, schedules, files and manuals; prepares and/or types a variety of reports, charts, graphs and other materials, utilizing both manual and computer generated data with accuracy 95% of the time.
- Facilitates patient/physician identification and tracking, as well as education, when needed, as measured through feedback from physicians and managers
- Acts as liaison between the Hospitalist Program, Hospital, Medical Groups and Health Plans.
Required:
At least two (2) years of experience performing related duties with at least one (1) year working in a healthcare setting- Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the following knowledge, skills and abilities listed under "Special Skills" may be considered

Four (4) or more years experience performing related duties in a healthcare or acute care setting preferred- Prior training and experience working in a Hospitalist/Hospital Medicine Dept highly desired
