The Client Care Specialist (CCS) reports to the Director of Dignity Care and RN Supervisor (RNS)..

The CCS is a team leadership role. The CCS is responsible to work alongside the RN as a team lead and support the overall operations of the Community in accordance with residences’ needs, team coaching, government regulations, and Silverbell Homestead LLC (SBH) and Dignity Care Team LLC (DCT) policies and procedures. Maintain excellent service quality, positive morale among the team, and meet the NC 10A NCAC 13J.1001 regulator guidelines. Most importantly assist in achieving and maintaining high satisfaction with clients and their family.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/QUALITIES:

• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred but not required.
• Must have a NA1 certification or NA2 certification and/or Med Tech license, or CCMA license.
• Minimum of 2-3 yrs. experience in home care, assisted or independent living preferred.
• Must have supervisory experience or management experience.
• Must have or be willing to gain knowledge of NC state regulations (see above).
• Must be certified and in good standing with NC state licensing agency as NA1, NA2, and/or Med Tech.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, DCT team, community and NC state officials/surveyors, hospital staff, all referral sources and general public.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must be able to co-lead a self-directed team and be a team player.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team leader as well as an individual.
• Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.
• Practice and promote DCT & Silverbell Homestead LLC Policies and Procedures, Mission Statement, Core Values and Guiding Principles.
• Must be computer literate (MS Word, Excel, EMS tools).
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities essential to the job function with or without supervision.

On-call with company phone provided. Maybe subject to a call back during emergency conditions (e.g. severe weather, evacuation, post-disaster, low staffing level)

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
