Travel RN Med/Surg/Tele
$65/hr | $3120 Weekly | 48 hours
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Schedule: Days (7a-7p)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients with medical-surgical and cardiac/telemetry conditions.
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygen saturation, pain levels, and neurological status.
- Perform focused and comprehensive patient assessments and identify changes in condition.
- Monitor patients on telemetry, recognize abnormal rhythms, and promptly notify the appropriate provider.
- Administer medications, IV medications, fluids, and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Manage and monitor IV lines, central lines, drains, catheters, and other medical devices.
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, and skin assessments.
- Monitor laboratory results and report significant abnormalities to the physician/RN care team.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient education.
- Manage patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, diabetes, hypertension, pneumonia, infections, and post-operative complications.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, PT/OT, case managers, and other interdisciplinary team members..
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 year of RN MS/Tele experience
- Active RN license
- BLS & ACLS (AHA)
