We re seeking an experienced Supply Chain SME to support mission-critical programs in the defense/aerospace domain. This is a high-impact onsite contract role for someone who can bridge operations, compliance, and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate complex supply chain & procurement workflows into structured, rule-based processes
- Support cross-functional alignment across Supply Chain, Engineering, and Program Finance
- Act as a key advisor on compliance with FAR/DFARS & ITAR regulations
- Partner with engineering and data teams to enable smarter, process-driven solutions
- Analyze supply chain disruptions and assess downstream impacts across programs
Required Experience:
- 10 years in supply chain, procurement, or operations within defense, aerospace, or complex manufacturing
- Deep expertise in FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and procurement strategies (sole-source vs. multi-source)
- Strong process engineering mindset (Lean Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, BPMN preferred)
- Understanding of Program Finance (EVMS/EAC) and Engineering systems (MBSE/PLM)
- Proven ability to work closely with engineering, data, and AI teams (no coding required)
