Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Manager to lead our operations with scheduling and workflow. In this role, you will monitor and direct the entire production process, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and precision. Your expertise will drive the successful execution of projects from post proof approval to final output, utilizing your technical proficiency and leadership skills to manage material use, team assignments, and coordinate various production tasks.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily print production activities across multiple printing, fabrication and installation technologies including wide format printing, CNC machining, fabrication and installation.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of printing machinery, ensuring optimal performance through technical adjustments and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate cutting, finishing, and installation processes to meet project specifications and deadlines.
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout production stages to ensure consistency and adherence to client standards.
- Implement safety protocols for printer and equipment operation, machinery adjustment, forklift handling, and overall manufacturing environment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to review project requirements and provide updates on production status.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing or large-format graphics environment.
- Strong knowledge of production management in a custom fabrication or printing environment.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and manage warehouse or production floor logistics effectively.
- Excellent quality control skills with an eye for detail in print materials.
- Knowledge of prepress processes including digital file preparation.
- Strong leadership abilities to supervise a team of operators while maintaining safety standards and productivity goals.
