Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects across various departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project lifecycle activities, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of initiatives aligned with organizational goals. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and excellent communication skills to facilitate project execution from inception through completion. The Project Manager will utilize industry-standard methodologies such as PMBOK, Agile, Waterfall, and SAFe to drive efficiency, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation using tools like Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet
• Lead project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure in accordance with the project management lifecycle
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and perform detailed requirements analysis to define project scope and objectives
• Manage project risks through proactive risk management strategies and root cause analysis to address issues promptly
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of project components while maintaining quality standards
• Implement change management processes to adapt project scope or objectives as needed while minimizing impact on timelines and costs
• Utilize project management software such as Jira, Confluence, Workday, or Basecamp for task tracking and collaboration
• Conduct regular status meetings with stakeholders to communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively
• Apply Lean Six Sigma principles like Kaizen and Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement initiatives
• Manage project budgets through cost control techniques and earned value management to track financial performance
• Oversee program development and portfolio management activities to align projects with strategic business goals
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards including PMBOK guidelines
• Lead team management efforts by supervising project teams, fostering collaboration, and resolving conflicts efficiently

Skills

• Proven expertise in project management methodologies
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience in supervising teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet
• Advanced communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and presentation delivery
• Skilled in requirements gathering, process mapping, business process modeling, and requirements management
• Expertise in risk management techniques including root cause analysis and conflict resolution strategies
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure projects as well as vendor management practices
• Proficiency in data analysis using SAS or similar tools for informed decision-making
• Technical writing skills for documentation purposes including process documentation and reports
• Experience with various PPM tools such as VersionOne, Project Server, or ServiceNow for portfolio oversight
• Ability to facilitate meetings effectively using tools like Visio or SharePoint for documentation and collaboration purposes
