DigitalRD is a Kentucky-based dietitian consulting company that specializes in serving long-term care residents in skilled nursing facilities. We service clients all across the state of Kentucky and are looking for dietitians who are passionate, organized, detailed, task-focused, and fast learners. DigitalRD is excited to train brand new graduates with a love for long-term care and/or seasoned dietitians that are excited about a new opportunity! DigitalRD currently has seven Registered Dietitians and has had zero turnover in dietitians since the company started three years ago :-)
Role Description
The Dietitian (RD/RDN) will be responsible for conducting nutritional assessments, wound reviews, weight change reviews, enteral feeding reviews, dialysis reviews, and monthly audits. The applicant must have dependable transportation and be willing to travel to the location of the nursing facility. This position grants the dietitian the ability to create their own schedule, have flexibility with their work hours, and essentially...be their own boss! This opportunity ranges from 8 hours per week to potentially 40 hours per week!
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics/Nutrition
- Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) license in the state of KY
- In good standing as a Registered Dietitian with the CDR
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and on-site
- Experience in the long-term care industry is a plus but not required
- Ability to drive to facilities that aren't local
- Fast learner, organized, task-focused, and detail-oriented
