JOB DESCRIPTION-ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
We currently have an immediate opening for an Assistant Project Manager. The Assistant Project Manager will be a part of the team that is responsible for the expansion of DigitalPath’s network of the ALERTWildfire Camera System. This network expands across multiple regions, including location and development of new sites. DigitalPath is looking for a talented team player with a positive “can-do” attitude and trustworthy character. This individual should be able to handle constructive criticism well and focus on the task at hand. The ideal candidate will exhibit superb relationship-building and problem-solving skills, with an ability to multitask and prioritize job importance from highest to lowest. In order to be successful in this role, you must be willing to continuously learn new technologies and adapt quickly to change.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS-ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER:
· Hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm
· Travel may be required up to 50 percent of the time with per-diem and lodging paid
· Reports to VP of Operations and Field Operations Manager
· Job is based out of our Chico Corporate Office
· Must be able to work in a group setting or in an office independently
· Most work will be in an office setting, with work to be performed outside in the elements, including site visits and meetings.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Experience in Construction Management
· Ability to represent the Company on a professional level
· Great customer service skills
· Great problem solving and thinking skills
· Great time management & self-organizational skills
· Ability to prioritize many tasks at once
· Must have a clean driving record [0-1 points, no DUI] and ability to drive a manual transmission
· Must be able to pass a comprehensive drug/alcohol screening and arduous physical
· Must possess at minimum a Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of Construction Project Management experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Climbing and rescue, OHSA 10, and equipment certifications
· Applying for and pulling permits
· Operating 4X4 vehicles
· Working with heights
· Knowledge and ability to successfully manage employees
· Experience managing remote employees in various cities
· Experience with field quality control
· Experience with company policy adherence and enforcement for employees
· Knowledge of American Tower OAA documents
· Knowledge of Google Earth and its functions
· Experience writing and editing lease agreements and lease amendments
· Experience with Google G Suite
· Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Visio/Outlook)
COMPENSATION:
$60,000-$70,000 Annually. Starting pay will vary based on your knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience. Full Time. Exempt. Additional benefits include: Health and Dental group insurance, Life Insurance, Vision Reimbursement Program, Free Residential Internet Service (if you reside in the coverage area), 401k, PTO, and Holiday pay.
