Outside Sales Representative – Broadcast Video Solutions Mid-Atlantic Region (Remote/Field-Based, with travel)
Are you sales professional with a technical background and a passion for broadcast and production technology? Join our team and help leading organizations across the Mid-Atlantic region elevate their video workflows with cutting-edge broadcast solutions. We’re seeking a driven hunter to identify, qualify, and close opportunities in transmission systems and full broadcast ecosystems.
What You’ll Do:
- Proactively identify, research, target, and engage potential customers in the Mid-Atlantic U.S. (and beyond as needed)
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at production houses, TV stations, commercial/industrial clients, state/local/federal government agencies, houses of worship, educational institutions, and more
- Uncover and drive sales opportunities for broadcast video solutions, with a primary focus on transmission systems—while also including editing systems, switchers, routers, video servers, cameras, terminal gear, test equipment, and related technologies
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, presenting solutions, negotiating, and closing deals
- Maintain accurate records and disciplined pipeline management in our CRM platform
- Travel regionally as required to meet clients, demo solutions, and attend industry events
What You Bring:
- Self-Starter with 5 years of hands-on experience in the broadcast and/or professional video production industry
- 2 years of proven sales experience (8–10 years of outside/technical sales strongly preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of AV/broadcast systems, including transmission, editing, switchers, routers, servers, cameras, terminal gear, and test equipment
- Proficiency with CRM tools and structured sales pipeline/process management
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Valid U.S. driver’s license, U.S. citizenship, and ability to travel (regional, occasional overnight)
