Role Description

As an Account Manager at DTMG, you are the post-sale operational owner and trusted advisor for a portfolio of paid advertiser relationships. You translate client goals into tactical media plans, oversee campaign execution and pacing across the DTMG portfolio, and partner closely with Ad Operations, Integrated Marketing, Analytics, and your assigned Account Executive. You protect revenue through accurate reporting, expectation management, and disciplined renewal and account growth. Responsibilities include tracking partnership performance, managing deliverables, and ensuring seamless communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own a book of existing paid advertiser relationships post-sale, serving as the day-to-day point of contact and operational owner from kickoff through renewal.
  • Translate client goals and KPIs into tactical media plans and oversee campaign execution, pacing, and optimization across the DTMG portfolio.
  • Partner with Ad Operations on trafficking, specs, and creative delivery; with Integrated Marketing on branded program execution; and with Analytics on measurement and insights.
  • Build and deliver accurate, on-time performance reports with insights and clear recommendations the client can act on.
  • Manage client expectations proactively, surface risks early, and bring the client a recommendation rather than just a problem.
  • Drive renewals, upsells, and incremental account growth in partnership with the assigned Account Executive.
  • Maintain disciplined CRM, campaign, and account documentation so pacing data, renewal dates, and account notes are accurate at all times.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of digital media, advertising, or media account management experience.
  • Demonstrated detail orientation, follow-through, and a strong personal standard for accuracy.
  • Strong client communication, expectation management, and written reporting skills.
  • Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving, including comfort with campaign data, pacing reports, and performance metrics.
  • Comfort using CRM and campaign management tools to maintain account, pipeline, and pacing hygiene.
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing accounts at a digital publisher, content studio, or integrated media organization.
  • Familiarity with branded content and integrated program execution.
  • Experience owning renewal and account growth targets alongside a quota-carrying seller.


Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000 annually. Final offer will reflect the candidate's experience, skills, internal equity, and geographic location.

Additional Compensation: Performance-based incentive plan tied to retention, renewal, and account growth, plus a discretionary annual bonus. Target on-target earnings of $90,000 – $110,000.
