Position Details
Position: Seasonal Photographer
Pay: $17/ hour drive time mileage reimbursement
*Training bonus and end-of-season bonus (for qualifying employees)
Location: Various school locations within the Lincoln and Omaha metro area, potential to travel within 2-3 hours one way
Position Type: Seasonal / Part-Time
Season: Late July-Mid November
*While this is a part-time seasonal position, many of our team members return year after year. We are actively hiring for upcoming seasons and building a reliable team for long-term opportunities.*
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00a-1:00p (on average); No weekends in most cases
About the Role
We’re looking for reliable, friendly, and organized individuals to join our seasonal school photography team. You’ll be photographing students for school portraits in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
No photography experience? No problem. We provide all training and equipment. (Photographers with strong technical skills are highly encouraged to apply)
This is a great fit for photographers who enjoy working with kids, staying on schedule, and creating consistent, high-quality images.
Responsibilities
- Travel to local schools using company-provided photography equipment
- Set up and break down photography stations
- Photograph students and staff following established posing, lighting, and workflow standards
- Assist children in looking their best for photos
- Provide friendly, professional customer service to school staff, students, and families
Qualifications
- No prior school photography experience required (Prior photography experience is always a plus)
- Comfortable working with children and school staff
- Strong time-management and organization skills
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to school locations
- Professional, dependable, and positive attitude
