Custodian

We are actively hiring for the position of Custodian for our plant in Van Nuys, CA

Shift: 3rd Shift - 9:30 pm-6:00 am

Pay: $17.87- $19.87

Duties & Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors in rooms and halls
• Dust and/or polish furniture, blinds, and equipment
• Cleans restrooms and fills dispensers
• Vacuums, spot cleans, and/or shampoos rugs, carpets, and furniture using commercial-type vacuum cleaners and shampooing equipment
• Reports malfunction of bathroom fixtures, light fixtures, and/or damage to room and hall furnishings to the superior
• Stock area with appropriate supplies
• Initiates work orders for repair/maintenance
• Moves furniture, equipment, or fixtures as required
• Washes dishes or utensils as required
• Helps production prepare and package client products as required
• Performs other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, techniques and standards.
• Skill in safely using cleaning products and equipment.
• Skill in following verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate in English
