Location: U.S. Based – Remote

Role Overview

This role sits within the Integration Management Office and plays a critical part in ensuring newly acquired or separated businesses are seamlessly integrated into—or disentangled from—Digital Realty’s global operating, technology, and governance frameworks.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience managing large, cross-functional programs in global environments, with strong execution discipline, risk awareness, and stakeholder management skills. You will act as the central integrator across business and technology teams to drive execution, transparency, and accountability throughout the deal lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end integration and separation initiatives across systems, networks, applications, processes, security, and operating models
  • Coordinate activities from planning through execution, stabilization, and transition to steady-state operations
  • Partner cross-functionally with IT, Security, Compliance, Legal, Finance, HR, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams
  • Serve as the primary liaison across internal stakeholders, external partners, acquired entities, and joint venture counterparts
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths using standard tools and methodologies
  • Establish governance frameworks, executive reporting, and escalation paths to support decision-making
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and integration constraints, including mitigation planning and escalation
  • Track interdependencies across workstreams to ensure alignment and minimize downstream impacts
  • Oversee integration budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and resource allocation across concurrent initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and security standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001)
  • Manage third-party vendors and support change management efforts, including communication, training, and adoption tracking

What You’ll Need

  • 5 years of project or program management experience leading large, complex initiatives
  • Experience supporting M&A integrations, joint ventures, divestitures, or enterprise transformation efforts (preferred)
  • Background in IT, infrastructure, cloud, data center, or regulated environments (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
  • PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or similar project management certification (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments, infrastructure, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity
  • Ability to translate technical complexity into clear, actionable plans for diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project, or similar platforms
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills in matrixed organizations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and willingness to travel as needed
