As a key contributor within the Business Operations team, you will apply independent judgment and analytical expertise to support and enhance operational functions across CTO-related organizations including IT, Product & Engineering, InfoSec, and CDO. You will analyze financial and operational data, provide insights to business leaders, and help guide decision-making across budgeting, procurement, vendor management, and reporting processes. This role collaborates cross-functionally and contributes to process improvements that strengthen organizational efficiency and operational integrity.

Digital Realty offers its employees a highly competitive compensation package, excellent benefits, and an environment that recognizes and rewards your contributions. Our published pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and geographical location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. Moreover, an employee’s total compensation package varies by role and may include salary, cash bonus or commissions, and equity awards not quantified below.
Compensation range : $90,000-$100,000 annually. This compensation range represents the Company’s good faith belief as to what it will pay as a base salary for this position at the time of this posting.

Your role
As a key contributor within the Business Operations team, you will apply independent judgment and analytical expertise to support and enhance operational functions across CTO-related organizations including IT, Product & Engineering, InfoSec, and CDO. You will analyze financial and operational data, provide insights to business leaders, and help guide decision-making across budgeting, procurement, vendor management, and reporting processes. This role collaborates cross-functionally and contributes to process improvements that strengthen organizational efficiency and operational integrity.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze and support budgeting activities, including preparing financial models, evaluating actuals vs. budget, identifying variances, and recommending actions to ensure financial accuracy, alignment and solutions to the CTO organizations.
- Oversee procurement workflows and process, exercising judgment in validating purchase requests, containment within budget and accounting parameters, preparing purchase orders, reviewing documentation, guiding and ensuring process compliance.
- Evaluate and support accounts payable and accounting processes, including assessing accrual needs, driving and building proper accruals, overseeing receiving and reconciliation activities, and helping ensure vendor payments adhere to policy and timelines.
- Monitor and interpret operational and project financial data, partnering with Domain Leads, project teams and PMO groups to assess progress, identify risks, and provide informed recommendations and status.
- Develop and enhance reportingat the CTO and sub-group levels by working large and complex datasets into clear insights regarding operational performance, trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Build productive relationships with business partners, collaborating to align processes, resolve operational challenges, and support strategic objectives.
- Contribute to and occasionally lead ad hoc initiatives, applying analytical judgment to improve processes, streamline operations, and enhance efficiency.
- Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles and their proper application.
- Experience analyzing budgets and financial performance, including variance analysis, forecasting, and identifying solution paths.
- Proficiency with procurement and AP processes, including PO creation, compliance review, engagement tracking, and accrual/receiving assessments.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain strong internal and external partner relationships.
- Familiarity with ERP financial systems (procurement, AP, GL, and reporting) in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated analytical capability to support projects, interpret data, and deliver insights for operational decision-making.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to identify process improvements and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives.
