Position: Systems Administrator

Job Description:
This position will install, operate, secure and maintain dedicated Program Information Technology Infrastructure that is required to deliver products to our customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and support a broad range of basic systems and application support activities
- Expertise in managing all aspects of a Linux environment, including scripting
- Analyze computing requirements
- Lead a multi-disciplined range of technical systems and application activities
- Lead activities to install, configure and maintain multiplatform systems hardware, software and components
- Lead activities to plan, develop, design, and integrate all computer applications
- Plan and coordinate highly complex software and hardware for enterprise release
- Ensure systems conforms to architectural objectives
- Evaluate complex system's production readiness and supportability
- Perform the restoration of complex computing service operations
- Perform complex system problem identification and resolution
- Lead activities to integrate security solutions into information systems
- Develop project plans for the implementation of Linux systems into a computing environment
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Active CompTIA Security certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8570.01 Certification Requirements)
- 3 years of experience in performing system administration tasks on Windows and Linux hosts including installing security patches and making configuration changes to support security requirements
- 3 years of experience with installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering support for RHEL 6 or higher
- 3 years of experience with installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering support for Windows 7 or higher
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3 years of experience packaging and updating the base Linux operating systems installations
- 3 years of experience with Kickstart Scripts
- 3 years of experience with Bash
- Experience integrating security solutions (McAfee, Splunk, HBSS) into information systems
