Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician for a full-time, on-site role located in North Canton, OH. In this position, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems and equipment. Day-to-day tasks include performing maintenance, ensuring proper installation of structured cabling systems, and addressing technical issues promptly to maintain optimal operational performance. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Experience in low voltage systems including structured cabling, camera systems, access control, and communications infrastructure
- Strong understanding of blueprints, low voltage schematics, and technical documents with the ability to apply them accurately in the field
- Proven troubleshooting skills across low voltage and data cabling systems
- Familiarity with industry standard tools and techniques for low voltage installation and termination
- Knowledge of network infrastructure basics and how low voltage systems integrate with IT environments
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Low voltage license, BICSI certification, or relevant technical training preferredbut not a must.
- Physical ability to perform on-site work including lifting, pulling cable, and working at heights
