Qualifications/Skills
- Ten (10) years of progressive experience in technology leadership roles, with demonstrated responsibility for enterprise architecture, platform strategy, modernization initiatives, and large-scale system transformation.
- Proven experience defining and governing enterprise architecture frameworks, technology standards, and architectural roadmaps aligned to business strategy and long-term organizational goals.
- Strong understanding of cloud, hybrid, and on-prem architectures, including design for high availability, scalability, resiliency, performance, and cost optimization.
- Demonstrated experience in tool rationalization and platform consolidation, including reduction of redundant systems, licensing optimization, and vendor portfolio simplification.
- Experience designing and guiding modernization of business systems (CRM, CMS, ERP), data platforms, analytics environments, and integration patterns.
- Strong background in systems architecture, infrastructure design, and application hosting models, including web tiers, load balancing, database architecture, and distributed systems.
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments sufficient to guide architectural decisions, patterns, and standards across production environments.
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and guide cross-functional technical teams including platform engineers, developers, data teams, cybersecurity, and operations without reliance on direct authority.
- Experience aligning architecture with security frameworks, compliance requirements, and governance standards (SOC2, data classification, risk management).
- Knowledge of AI enablement, automation strategy, and intelligent workflow design, with experience identifying opportunities to replace manual effort with scalable, automated or AI-driven solutions.
- Strong experience in vendor evaluation, contract negotiations, technology investment planning, and forecasting.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and strategic-thinking abilities, with a proven record of solving systemic problems rather than treating symptoms.

- Guide and influence cross-functional technology teams (Business Systems, Infrastructure, Data, Security, and Internal tool Development) to ensure solutions are architecturally aligned, standardized, and optimized for scale.
- Define and maintain the multi-year technology and modernization roadmap, including system consolidation, platform unification, automation initiatives, and AI enablement strategies.
- Serve as the senior architectural authority for major projects, ensuring solution designs meet requirements for performance, reliability, security, compliance, and future scalability.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity and Compliance functions to ensure that architecture and technology strategies align with SOC2, data classification standards, regulatory requirements, and internal governance frameworks.
- Lead the strategic integration of AI, automation, and intelligent workflows into business systems, support functions, and operational environments to reduce manual effort, increase efficiency, and improve service delivery.
- Oversee the design of high-availability, resilient, and scalable architectures supporting 24x7x365 business-critical and customer-facing environments.
- Establish architectural patterns for cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments, including guidance for infrastructure-as-code, provisioning automation, monitoring strategies, and disaster recovery.
- Provide guidance and input into technology budgeting, resource planning, and multi-year investment strategies to ensure alignment between architecture, financial planning, and business priorities.
- Lead vendor evaluation, contract negotiation strategy, and technology selection efforts to ensure alignment with architectural standards, long-term scalability, and ROI target outcomes.
- Define and document architectural standards, platform guidelines, integration patterns, and modernization workflows in support of clarity, consistency, and knowledge sharing. Identify systemic weaknesses, architectural inefficiencies, and operational bottlenecks, and develop strategic solutions that address root causes rather than symptoms
- Serve as an executive-level advisor and technical authority for senior leadership, translating complex technical concepts into clear business impact, risk, and opportunity.
- Support and guide Platform Engineering and Infrastructure functions in designing automated, repeatable, and resilient system processes rather than manual, ticket-driven execution models.
- Ensure that technology solutions are designed with customer experience, operational efficiency, data value, and scalability at the forefront.
- Promote collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across technology teams, fostering a culture of accountability, modernization, and “10x thinking.”
- Partner with Business Systems and Data teams to align architecture in support of CRM modernization, analytics enablement, reporting consistency, and AI-readiness.
- Participate in change management and transformation initiatives, ensuring technology changes are structured, communicated effectively, and aligned to architectural standards.
- Provide architectural guidance in complex problem-solving scenarios and serve as a strategic escalation point for high-impact, cross-functional technology issues.
