What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Project Manager position at Digital King?
We are a fast-paced digital agency looking for a Digital Producer (Project Manager) to serve as the "Traffic Controller" for our operations.
This role reports directly to the CEO. We are not looking for a silent administrator; we are looking for a vocal leader who can organize the production team, manage client communications, and keep the executive team on track.
IMPORTANT: HOURS & LOCATION
- Location: This is a fully remote position.
- Hours: You MUST be available to work during US Business Hours (EST/CST). If you cannot adjust your schedule to overlap significantly with US time, please do not apply.
NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENT: ENGLISH FLUENCY
- Native or Near-Native Level Required.
- You will be leading client calls and managing an English-speaking team.
- There is zero room for miscommunication. You must be able to read complex briefs, write perfect client emails, and speak confidently and clearly on Zoom.
- If your English is not at a professional C1/C2 level, your application will be rejected immediately.
WHO YOU ARE
You are an industry-savvy professional who has worked in digital agencies before. You understand that a "Project Manager" does more than just move cards in Trello; they ensure quality.
- You know the difference between an H1 and H2 tag.
- You understand why Alt Text is important for SEO.
- You can look at a mobile staging site and instantly spot layout bugs to flag for the developers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Workflow & Traffic Management
- You will own the project management ecosystem (ClickUp/Asana).
- You will take raw concepts from the CEO and clients and turn them into detailed, actionable tickets for the Design and Development teams.
- Executive Management: The CEO is busy and moves fast. Your job is to ensure he reviews and approves assets on time. You must be comfortable "managing up," sending reminders, flagging bottlenecks, and pushing for answers when deadlines are at risk.
2. Quality Assurance (The "Gatekeeper")
- You are the final set of eyes before anything goes live.
- You will review blog posts, landing pages, and graphics to ensure they meet the agency's quality standards (checking for SEO basics, mobile responsiveness, and correct formatting).
- You do not need to code, but you must be technical enough to explain errors to the developers clearly.
3. Client Delivery
- You will join the CEO on client calls to discuss strategy and progress.
- You must have the confidence to speak up, offer input, and manage client expectations regarding timelines and feasibility.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: Previous experience working in a Digital Agency or Web Studio is required.
- Assertiveness: You must be comfortable holding leadership accountable. If a deadline is slipping, you speak up.
- Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of SEO, WordPress, and Web Development workflows.
HOW TO APPLY
Please apply with your CV/Resume. MANDATORY: In your cover letter, please answer this specific question:
"If a Developer tells you a requested task is 'impossible' but the Client says it is 'urgent,' how do you handle that situation?"- (Applications without this answer will not be reviewed).
