Role Description This is a contract, on-site Social Media Content Creator/Videographer role based in Jacksonville, FL. The person in this role will plan, script, film, and edit short-form and long-form video content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Daily responsibilities include brainstorming content concepts, capturing footage on-site with clients or in studio, editing videos optimized for each platform, and producing supporting photo and graphic assets as needed. The role also involves collaborating with strategists and account managers to align content with brand guidelines, campaign goals, and posting calendars, as well as tracking performance and iterating based on data. The ideal candidate is comfortable being on-site with clients, managing equipment, and working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Qualifications
Position: Short-Form Camera Operator / Videographer (1099 Contractor)

About the Project:
Our marketing agency is hiring a reliable, fast-paced solo Videographer / Camera Operator for a 3-month independent contract. We need a shooter to capture raw footage for approximately 105 total short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts).
*Note: NO EDITING IS REQUIRED. Our agency handles all post-production internally. Your sole focus is framing, lighting, capturing clean audio, and transferring raw files.*
Our creative manager will provide the exact blueprints, concepts, and scripting instructions for every single video—you just need to bring the gear, execute the framing, and capture the footage.
Location & Travel Scope:
• ~30–40 videos will be filmed on-location in Jacksonville, FL.
• ~65–75 videos will be filmed on-location in Tallahassee, FL.
*Note: We are open to candidates based in either city. You must be willing to travel between Jacksonville and Tallahassee via I-10 to batch-shoot blocks of content. A standard travel/mileage stipend will be provided.
Core Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with our manager to batch-shoot multi-video concepts efficiently on-location.
• Set up basic audio, lighting, and vertical framing using your own commercial-grade gear.
• Deliver organized, high-quality raw video files (4K vertical preferred) immediately following shoots.
• Hand over raw footage as standard "work-for-hire" intellectual property.
Requirements:
• Own professional video production gear (Camera capable of high-quality vertical video, lighting, wireless lapel/lavalier mic setup).
• Proven portfolio showing clean composition, lighting, and audio capture.
• Reliability and clean transportation to handle the Jacksonville/Tallahassee commute.
• Ability to work autonomously under a 1099 agreement.
