What are the responsibilities and job description for the Need Remote Laptop Custodian and Technical Support position at Digital Fabrication?
We are seeking a person based in the US to keep some laptops and share remote access for software engineers who are employed by US companies but are going to travel abroad.Responsibilities:- Receive and set up several laptops.- Configure the laptops according to specific requirements and ensure they are connected to the Internet.- Turn on and maintain daily remote access capabilities to facilitate ongoing software development work by the engineers.- Perform minor daily tasks that cannot be completed remotely, such as software updates, basic troubleshooting, and system checks.- Ensure the laptops are in good condition and report any technical issues or damages promptly.- Communicate regularly with the engineers to coordinate schedules and address any technical needs or concerns.Qualifications:- US-based resident.- Proficiency with basic laptop setup/configuration.- Responsible, trustworthy, and able to manage multiple devices efficiently.- Good communication skills.- Experience with IT support or technical assistance is a plus, but not required.Compensation:- $150 per laptop per month.
