Duties
- Develop and write clear, concise technical documents including user manuals, guides, and online help content.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy in documentation.
- Utilize tools such as Visio for creating diagrams and flowcharts that enhance understanding of technical processes.
- Edit and proofread documents for clarity, grammar, and adherence to company standards.
- Conduct thorough research to ensure comprehensive coverage of topics within the documentation.
- Maintain version control of documents and ensure timely updates as products evolve.
- Provide support in the development of training materials and presentations as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical writing with a strong portfolio of relevant work.
- Proficiency in editing and proofreading to ensure high-quality documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information effectively.
- Strong research skills to gather information from various sources accurately.
- Familiarity with word processing software and tools for document creation (e.g., Microsoft Word).
- Experience with Visio or similar diagramming tools is preferred but not mandatory.
