Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Project Estimator role based in Oakland, CA. The Project Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, evaluating project requirements, managing budgets, and supporting bid proposals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting material takeoffs, analyzing project specifications, collaborating with vendors and subcontractors, and maintaining communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the project estimation process.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Cost Management, Budgeting, and financial analysis for project cost control
- Expertise in Telecommunications and/or Electrical Estimating, including material takeoffs and bid preparation
- Proficient in Project Estimation, including analysis of project scope and requirements
- Excellent Communication skills for effective collaboration with vendors and team members
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with estimation software and Microsoft Office/ Bluebeam applications
- Knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and industry practices
- Relevant degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in the telecommunications or electrical contracting industry is a plus
- Project management experience preferred but not required.
