About the Role
You will work closely with technical leaders, product owners, and architects to build highly reliable services using modern engineering practices. As a senior member of the team, you will work towards and help mentor software engineers, sharing your knowledge of industry standards for cloud-native software development.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience building RESTful microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Experience in NodeJS API Development.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Native development, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and CI/CD (Jenkins Core)
- Experience collaborating on engineering teams and willingness to mentor junior engineers
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in crafting microservices using software design patterns, the Twelve-Factor App methodology, and SDLC principles
- Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
- Expertise with asynchronous workers and resilient messaging platforms including Kafka, SNS, and SQS
- Deep understanding of AWS services such as Lambda, AWS Batch,Dynamo Database, EC2, SQS, SNS, Aurora postgres database and associated scaling mechanisms
- Proficiency in relational databases and SQL
