Program Manager

The Program Manager is responsible and accountable for the successful planning, controlling, and implementing of large Client programs. Working with the Client, the project managers, and multiple internal stakeholders, the Program Manager must identify the strategic objectives and benefits of the program, then align multiple projects to to allow for optimized cost, schedule, and effort. The Program Manager provides and adheres to structured governance that enables consistent processes, integrated planning and scheduling, quality standards, and appropriate oversight.

Responsibilities Include:

• Integrates, monitors, and controls the interdependencies (schedule, resource, and financial) among related projects to achieve the program goals

• Accurately reflects business rhythms and priorities in order to clearly define scope and the program roadmap

• Understands multi-organizational stakeholders’ interests and communication requirements, effectively addresses expectations, and provides timely key messages

• Relays accurate and timely communication of project status, risks, and issues to the internal Steering Committee and Client

• Provides leadership, support, and guidance for project managers and helps relay the program-level bigger picture

• Manages program expenditures and estimates to complete

• Identifies and documents risks and response strategies, then manages to those strategies in order to lessen or mitigate probability of occurrence and impact to the overall program

• Identifies and adheres to a formal change management plan

• Drives issue and conflict resolution

• Integrates tasks and deliverables of third party vendors into the overall program plan

• Defines and monitors program governance to ensure appropriate adherence to standard processes, templates, and control points

• Understands and adheres to enterprise-wide governance structures

• Provides program management subject matter expertise based on known standards and techniques

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven track-record of successful program delivery in the IT space

• Strong skills in budget management

• Formal experience managing stakeholder and executive expectations

• Ability to mentor, support, and guide in the areas of project, delivery, and release management across all areas of a program

• Excellent conflict resolution skills

• Previous consulting experience preferred

At Digineer, we comply with all local and state regulations regarding salary transparency. The actual salary/wage will be based on relevant factors such as applicant skills, experience, degrees, and certifications, as well as geographic location and market considerations. This position's salary ranges from $100,000 to $195,000. In addition, the role is eligible for performance-based and quarterly/annual bonuses.
