DigiM is a world leader in advanced software platforms that accelerate drug formulation, process optimization, and quality control in pharmaceutical R&D. The Scientific Software Account Manager is to drive the go-to-market strategy, business development, and application support for our flagship software in the characterization, engineering, and prediction of drug products. In this customer-facing role, you will leverage your scientific expertise and communication skills to showcase product value, foster client relationships, and ensure successful implementation in real-world pharmaceutical development projects to drive revenue growth through the sale of software packages and services.

Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development: Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities, negotiate and close complex sales, and drive adoption of scientific software solutions in assigned territories or verticals.
- Market & Account Strategy: Analyze market trends, monitor competitive offerings, and provide strategic input on product and account planning.
- Manage Customer Accounts: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with research-focused clients, understanding their technical needs, workflows, and business objectives.
- Technical Expertise: Provide expert scientific and technical support, deliver product demonstrations and presentations, and answer detailed product-related inquiries.
- Customer Feedback: Gather and relay client feedback to product management and development teams for continuous improvement.
- Reporting: Manage CRM records, produce accurate forecasts, and report on client engagement and sales performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science).
- 1 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer support within a scientific software environment.
- Proven track record selling technical or scientific software solutions or services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self starter, result driven with strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and communicate scientific concepts and software features.
- Experience using CRM and sales tracking platforms.
- Willingness to travel (0%-10%) as required.
- Familiarity with software sales cycles, procurement processes, and enterprise deals.
- Knowledge of pharma industry trends and challenges within scientific research or laboratory environments for drug product development.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong organizational, planning, and time-management abilities.
- Client-focused approach and problem-solving skills for tailored solution development.
Compensation package (base commission bonus) minimum $80,000 on Target Earning. Total earnings will depend on experience and performance.
