Senior Cloud AI & Platform Administrator
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 12 Months
Must-have:
We are looking for a hands-on administrator who can manage our platform across cloud, data, and AI workloads. This role is not just traditional admin work — it involves working across Kubernetes, data pipelines, streaming, and now AI/ML platforms as well. The person should be comfortable handling day-to-day operations while also supporting new platform capabilities as we scale.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support Kubernetes, Docker, and Rancher environments
- Work on Apache NiFi pipelines for data ingestion and flow management
- Handle Linux administration (patching, monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting)
- Support AWS and GCP environments for infrastructure and deployments
- Manage Kafka clusters for streaming workloads and ensure stability
- Take care of basic PostgreSQL administration (backups, monitoring, performance)
AI / Azure Platform Responsibilities
- Administer and manage Azure AI Foundry (AI Studio) environments
- Deploy and maintain AI models, pipelines, and endpoints
- Manage the AI lifecycle — experimentation, deployment, monitoring, scaling
- Handle vector search and embeddings lifecycle management
- Work with Azure AI Search (indexing, scoring, semantic search)
- Manage Blob Storage / Data Lake for document and data storage
Observability & AIOps
- Set up and manage Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
- Configure alerting, telemetry pipelines, and anomaly detection
- Implement AIOps practices for predictive monitoring and automation
Application & Integration Layer
- Manage Azure App Services and Static Web Apps
- Support Azure Functions (serverless) and Logic Apps workflows
- Work with API Gateway for service exposure and routing
Infrastructure as Code
- Use Bicep / ARM / Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and changes
