Role OverviewThe Sales Manager will lead and develop the sales team to achieve revenue and growth targets within a closet or related home improvement company. This role involves recruiting, training, and mentoring sales personnel, optimizing sales processes, and driving team performance through effective leadership and strategic execution. The ideal candidate should have proven experience managing design or consultative sales teams and a strong passion for performance excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, interview, and onboard new sales team members.
- Train and mentor salespeople to enhance their product knowledge, sales techniques, and performance.
- Set clear sales targets and hold team members accountable for achieving them.
- Support the sales team in closing deals and managing high-value clients.
- Regularly review and update product offerings and pricing strategies.
- Continuously optimize the company’s training and development programs for sales staff.
- Track performance metrics and report progress to leadership.
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing a team of at least 10 designers or salespeople in a closet or related home improvement company.
- Proven record of training and developing at least 5 designers or sales professionals.
- Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based sales approaches.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
- Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and use new digital tools or CRM systems.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and driven by measurable results.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Base Salary: $90,000 per annum
