We are seeking an experienced Drafter to join our operations in the Oklahoma City, OK area. The Drafter will focus on creating drawings and diagrams related to low voltage electrical and security systems. They will be responsible for pre-sales drafting support, post sale shop drawing updates, preparing submittal packages, preparing project installation documentation, processing project permits, updating as-built drawings, and management/upkeep of the Digi drawing database. The Drafter will work closely with Digi's Solutions Engineers and Sales Support staff in order to provide accurate, detailed, and thorough quotes and designs.
*Special preference will be given to Drafters with direct Low Voltage/Security System Design experience. This is an in-person role with daily commute expected to our OKC office.
Role Responsibilities of the Drafter include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Pre-Sales Drawing/Design Support
- Prepare Shop Drawings Post Sale
- Prepare and Submit Permit Applications
- Prepare and Submit Submittal Packages
- Prepare and Link Product Data Sheets, Installation Checklists and Installation Manuals for our install teams.
- Design diagrams, maps and layouts to illustrate workflows.
- Post installation as-built drawing updates.
- Prepare user manual packages for client partners post installation.
- Manage and Maintain Project Drawing/Documentation Library and Peer Access
Key Skills:
- Experience with CAD/PDF Editing software including Adobe Suite, Bluebeam Revu
- Familiarity with Cloud Document Sharing and Storage
- Experience with Microsoft Office Programs, Word, Excel, Power Point
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented, well-organized nature
- Handle multiple tasks, working under time-bound conditions
- Experience with Low Voltage Systems is a plus
- Valid Driver's License and means of transportation
