Junior Manufacturing Engineer - Entry Level

With continued growth of our new North American location we are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our manufacturing team.

Job Description/ Duties

Digga is seeking and individual who can collaborate within a team setting on engineering projects, carrying out design, drafting, and testing activities essential to product development.

Internship opportunities available

Responsibilities include:

• Utilize automatic and manual nesting software to arrange parts for maximum sheet utilization , reducing material waste
• Create detailed 2D and 3D product drawings.
• Develop designs and carry out engineering calculations
• Collaborate with the production team to enhance manufacturing processes and efficiency by improving product designs, developing new tooling and fixtures, and implementing effective manufacturing procedures

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Currently pursuing or recent college graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related Engineering degree
• 0–2 years of relevant experience
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, assembly, fabrication)
• Familiarity with CAD software
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read drawings; job specifications/ instructions
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize work
