Healthcare Marketing Representative / Physician Liaison

Position Summary

Digestive Medicine Associates seeks a professional, energetic, and relationship-driven Healthcare Marketing Representative / Physician Liaison to support referral growth throughout the South Miami territory. This field-based position is responsible for visiting primary care practices, developing strong relationships with physicians and office staff, distributing marketing materials, addressing provider concerns, and serving as a trusted representative of our practice in the community.

Key Responsibilities

· Visit primary care provider offices throughout the South Miami territory to introduce, promote, and represent Digestive Medicine Associates.

· Build and maintain productive relationships with physicians, office managers, referral coordinators, medical assistants, and practice staff.

· Provide offices with current marketing pamphlets, brochures, service information, and other approved practice literature.

· Educate referring practices regarding our services, referral process, patient access, and communication expectations.

· Identify new referral opportunities and help strengthen existing referral relationships.

· Serve as a professional liaison between referring offices and Digestive Medicine Associates by gathering feedback, answering basic questions, and escalating concerns appropriately.

· Follow up promptly on provider concerns, referral barriers, or service issues and communicate updates to internal leadership.

· Maintain organized records of office visits, contacts, follow-up items, referral activity, and territory opportunities.

· Represent the practice with professionalism, enthusiasm, discretion, and excellent customer service at all times.

The successful candidate will be outgoing, confident, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys meeting new people, developing trust with medical office teams, resolving concerns professionally, and creating long-term referral relationships.

Qualifications

· Previous experience in healthcare marketing, physician relations, medical sales, community outreach, or referral development strongly preferred.

· Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and relationship-building skills.

· Professional appearance, judgment, and demeanor when representing the practice in medical offices.

· Self-motivated, energetic, and comfortable managing a field-based schedule independently.

· Strong follow-up, organization, time-management, and documentation skills.

· Ability to listen to provider concerns, respond diplomatically, and escalate issues appropriately.

· Familiarity with the South Miami healthcare market and local primary care practices is a plus.

· Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel locally throughout the assigned territory.

· Bilingual English/Spanish required

Work Location and Schedule

This is a part-time, field-based position serving primary care offices throughout South Miami territory. The expected schedule is approximately two to three days per week, with local travel required to visit medical offices.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
