We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at our Ambulatory Surgery Center. This is a flexible opportunity offering full-time, part-time, and per diem options. You’ll work alongside a dedicated clinical team to provide safe and effective anesthesia care for patients undergoing surgical endoscopy procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Under general supervision, administers local, inhalation, intravenous and other aesthetics during surgical endoscopy procedures.
- Evaluates patients condition and with consultation and guidance from providers, formulates patient-specific plan for anesthesia care.
- Observes condition of patient during surgical procedures, initiates remedial measures to prevent any adverse conditions as required.
- Informs physician of patients condition and supportive needs during anesthesia.
- Accompanies patient to recovery area and remains until patient's immediate condition is acceptable..
- Prepares procedure room, checks anesthesia machine, supplies, medication and gases.
- May be responsible for some administrative functions with additional compensation.
Minimum requirements are:
- Master’s degree and graduate from an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia Program CRNA (required)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible through NBCRNA (required)
- Minimum 2 years of related experience
- BLS/ACLS (required)
- Knowledge of current anesthesia practices and regulations
- Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused demeanor
