What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Front Desk Receptionist (NO NIGHTS, NO WEEKENDS! position at Digestive and Liver Health Specialists?
Now recruiting for a friendly front desk receptionist to work full time at our Nashville-based Gastroenterology practice. Hours will be Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm.
Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply!
Occasional floating to our satellite clinics in Smyrna, Murfreesboro, Gallatin and Clarksville may be required with advanced notice. This will be rare. The majority of shifts will be at our Nashville location.

Primary job duties:
- Answer multi-line phones and help handle patient needs and requests.
- Greet and assist patients and visitors, sign them in and obtain insurance information and other necessary data
- Maintain the organization of a medical office and ensure the medical environment is welcoming, calm, and quiet for patients and their families.
- Provide compassionate service to patients while managing patient communication, filing, and answering telephones
- Provide patients with intake and new patient forms as well as copies of our office policies and legally required documents.
- Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients. Coordinate patient and physician schedules.
- Maintain electronic and hard copy patient records.
- Provide administrative support to the office and team members.
