Responsibilities:
1. Teaching and Course Development:
● Prepare and deliver engaging and effective lectures, presentations, and interactive discussions in various nursing courses.
● Design and develop course materials, syllabi, lesson plans, and assessment methods that align with program outcomes and accreditation standards.
● Facilitate classroom, laboratory, and clinical learning experiences that promote critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and evidence-based practice.
● Utilize innovative teaching methods, technology, and simulations to enhance student learning and engagement.
● Provide timely and constructive feedback on assignments, examinations, and clinical performance.
2. Mentoring and Advising:
● Provide academic and professional guidance to nursing students, including academic advising, career planning, and mentorship.
● Assist students in setting goals, developing study strategies, and navigating challenges throughout their academic journey.
● Serve as a mentor and role model, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
● Offer guidance on professional development, continuing education opportunities, and career advancement in the nursing field.
3. Curriculum Development and Assessment:
● Contribute to the development, evaluation, and revision of the nursing curriculum to ensure its alignment with program goals, industry standards, and emerging healthcare trends.

4. Scholarly Activities and Professional Development:

Qualifications:
● Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing with preference given to MSN-ED
● Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of Florida (or eligibility for licensure).
