Position: Event Technical Lead
Position Type: Full-Time Employment based on 3-month Contract evaluation
Reports To: Director of Operations; onsite direction from assigned Project Manager
Location: Orlando, FL
Travel: Frequent
Position Summary:
Digerati provides production for events across the country and has a warehouse facility based out of Orlando, FL. The Event Technical Lead drives event gear to the venue, executes technical setup and show support onsite, and acts as the Project Manager's second-in-command on-site. On assigned events, the Event Technical Lead also supports the warehouse team with outbound pull, prep, and pack. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Cross-references client documents, Digerati Productions proposals, pull sheets, manifests, and shipping documents to ensure continuity before departure.
- Drives trucks to and from assigned event venues, safely and securely transporting all event gear.
- Serves as second-in-command onsite, working directly under the Project Manager to support event load-in, technical setup, show execution, and load-out.
- Provides hands-on technical execution onsite under the direction of the Project Manager.
- Steps in as onsite lead for minor events (Breakouts, Internal Meetings, small General Sessions) when a Project Manager is not assigned.
- Supports outbound pull, prep, and pack for assigned events by working with the warehouse team to stage, scan, and pack gear accurately against the pull sheet and manifest before departure.
- Verifies that all gear assigned to the event departs from the warehouse and returns intact after the event, flagging any discrepancies to the Gear Coordinator.
- Communicates with the Project Manager, warehouse team, and production team throughout the event lifecycle to ensure a well-managed, smooth event process.
- Hired with an explicit Project Manager development track expectation; performance evaluated against PM-readiness milestones over time.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
