Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh sandwiches, salads, and other food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently to process transactions accurately.
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders with enthusiasm, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food preparation area, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, manage cash handling procedures, and provide correct change.
• Assist with food handling duties including stocking supplies, bussing tables, and ensuring the dining area remains tidy.
• Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as serving customers, food prep, and cleaning.

Skills

• Strong background in food preparation and food handling within quick service or fast-food restaurant environments.
• Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper kitchen procedures.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting within the food industry or retail environment. Pay: $18.00 - $26.52 per hour
