Position Overview:
The Field Engineer will support day-to-day field operations on active construction projects, working directly with crews and coordinating closely with prime contractors. This role is ideal for someone with experience in roadway and concrete construction who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Track quantities and production for concrete roadways, patching, curb and gutter, and sidewalks
• Coordinate daily activities with prime contractors and site supervisors
• Assist with layout, elevations, and field measurements
• Support saw cutting operations and joint layout planning
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with project plans and specifications
• Maintain daily reports, logs, and project documentation
• Assist with takeoffs and estimating for roadway and concrete work
• Communicate effectively between field crews and office staff
• Promote and maintain job site safety standards

Qualifications:
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required
• Field experience in concrete roadway work, paving, or asphalt/concrete patching strongly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, grades, and specifications
• Understanding of production tracking and job site coordination
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with Procore or similar is a plus)
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
