Role Overview
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead growth for our construction firm. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new project opportunities, securing high-value contracts, and nurturing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including developers, engineers and general contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Expansion: Identify and target new business opportunities in additional regions across the US.
- Pre-construction Liaison: Act as the bridge between clients, estimating, and pre-construction teams to ensure accurate project proposals and smooth handoffs.
- Proposal Management: Lead the development of compelling RFP and RFQ responses with 100% accuracy and compliance with owner specifications.
- Strategic Networking: Represent the company at industry functions, trade shows, and community events to build a robust pipeline.
- "Seller-Doer" Culture: Support a culture where operational team members are engaged in relationship development and client outreach.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years of proven success in construction sales or business development.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or Marketing.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction delivery methods, install practices, and market trends.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation and public speaking skills for high-stakes interviews and client presentations.
