About the Opportunity

Dietz Sports & Entertainment is looking for reliable, outgoing, and organized individuals to join our team for a four-week customer-facing event marketing activation in Fishers, Indiana.

This is a temporary event marketing position that combines customer engagement, event operations, promotions, and brand activation. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a busy retail environment, interacting with customers, and helping ensure the activation runs smoothly each day.

No previous event marketing experience is required. Training and support will be provided.

Position Responsibilities

Event Operations Staff will help oversee the day-to-day operation of the customer activation, including:

• Welcoming and engaging with customers.
• Introducing customers to the featured loyalty and rewards program.
• Helping customers download the corresponding mobile app and create an account.
• Showing customers how to find and use available digital offers and rewards.
• Answering basic questions and assisting customers with the app.
• Operating the prize wheel and distributing giveaways.
• Tracking daily customer interactions, signups, existing members, and customers who decline.
• Keeping the activation area organized and welcoming.
• Representing Dietz Sports & Entertainment and our client in a professional and positive manner.

• Able to work independently while following established procedures.
• Comfortable using a smartphone and basic digital applications.
• Able to stand and remain active for extended periods.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
• At least 15 years old.

Schedule

The project will run from September 29 through October 25, 2026.

The typical activation schedule will be Thursday through Sunday, with additional days during the grand opening week.

This is a part-time, temporary position with opportunities to work multiple shifts throughout the four-week project. Candidates do not need to be available every day, but consistent availability throughout the project is preferred.

Candidates can select available shifts based on their schedules and availability.

Compensation

$17 per hour

This is a temporary position for the duration of the four-week activation.

Training & Support

You will receive training on the activation, customer engagement process, and daily responsibilities from an experienced Dietz Sports Manager.

Dietz Sports management will also be available throughout the project to provide support, answer questions, and help ensure the activation runs smoothly.
