DietitianSmart is looking for exceptional Registered Dietitians with LTC Experience to join our team.
Ideal candidates are independent, self-directed, and customer focused.
Our consultant RDs provide nutritional care for rehabilitation, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities throughout Southern California.
We have an immediate need in Rancho Mirage CA.
9-10 hours per week.
Flexible schedule during normal business hours.
Responsibilities include:
Working in collaboration with the DSS/CDM & IDT; nutrition screening and assessment of all residents upon admission, quarterly and annual assessments.
Care plans; frequent monitoring of high-risk residents including enteral and parenteral nutrition, dialysis, and participation with the IDT for weight variance & wound reviews.
Knowledge of NCP and standard charting methods for EMR required.
In addition, the consultant provides oversight to the Food Service Director for food service regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
Experience in LTC, clinical dietetics and some food service background desirable as well as knowledge of regulations for Food & Nutrition Services department such as Title 22, CMS, and the Department of Health.
Must have RD/RDN credential.
