What are the responsibilities and job description for the Onboarding & Training Manager position at DietitianLive Careers?
Description:
Onboarding & Training Manager (Remote)
Are you passionate about helping people succeed from day one? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where your work directly impacts team performance and growth? We’re looking for an Onboarding & Training Manager to take our high-volume onboarding program to the next level — ensuring every new hire feels confident, prepared, and ready to crush their goals.
This is a hands-on, operator role — not a “build L&D from scratch” position. You’ll run programs, facilitate training, and own outcomes that matter.
What You'll Do
- Lead bi-weekly onboarding cohorts in a fast-moving, high-volume environment
- Facilitate live virtual training sessions multiple times per month with confidence and energy
- Own the end-to-end onboarding experience, from pre-start prep through early tenure
- Serve as the go-to resource for new hires, helping them ramp quickly and feel supported
- Partner with managers to ensure new hires hit performance benchmarks and productivity goals
- Maintain and continuously improve onboarding materials to keep content fresh and effective
- Track new hire readiness and proactively identify and close gaps in real time
What Success Looks Like
- Smooth, consistent onboarding experiences for every cohort
- Engaged and confident new hires who ramp quickly
- Proactive identification and resolution of onboarding gaps
- High participation and energy in live training sessions
- Measurable impact on new hire productivity and early performance
What You Bring
- 5 years of experience in onboarding, training, or L&D, preferably with remote onboarding experience
- A strong facilitation presence and confidence leading live sessions
- Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments
- Highly organized with the ability to run a repeatable, bi-weekly cadence
- Comfortable owning outcomes, not just tasks
- Collaborative mindset — works well with managers and leadership to drive results
Why Join Us
- Play a mission-critical role in how new hires ramp, perform, and succeed from day one
- Own the onboarding experience in a high-growth, fast-moving company where your impact is immediate and visible
- Partner closely with leadership to directly influence team performance and outcomes
- Step into a role with real ownership, shaping processes and improving experiences for all new hires
- Join a rapidly scaling company solving real problems in preventative healthcare
- Be part of a mission-driven organization expanding access to whole-person care
