Quality Assurance Tech is responsisble for testing/checking product and facilities using the company quality program in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines, under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager.
Duties include but are not limited to: Monitoring SSOP and HAACP Programs, Regular testing and recording data of product in various stages of production, Regular checks of production equipment and surfaces, Verifying product specifications and labels and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the company. Ability to speak Spanish is desireable but not mandatory. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret graphs. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Must have a cooperative, constructive, respectful attitude, and must be able to work as a team member. Regularly required to stand; use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects or tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Regularly required to walk, sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
