We are seeking a full-time Assistant Branch Manager for our location in Ontario, California.
The Assistant Branch Manager position is a working manager position, working directly with the team supporting daily operations related to retail and commercial sales of diesel parts & components.
Assistant Branch Manager Responsibilities
- Manage the team in day-to-day operations
- Maintain, develop and implement warehouse operations systems including workflows and action plans to meet productivity, quality, and customer service standards
- Responsible for the execution and implementation of all company policies & procedures including safety requirements
- Manage inventory
- Establish continuous improvement practices.
Assistant Branch Manager Requirements
- 5 years of demonstrated successful management experience
- Diesel Engine & Automotive parts knowledge and background is a plus
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead a team of Associates
- Solid understanding of customer service principles and practices
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of inventory processes
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within all levels of organization and multiple departments
