Responsibilities

• All heavy trucks and diesel engines will receive high-quality repairs and maintenance from diesel technicians and heavy truck mechanics following manufacturer-designed guidelines or recognized industry standards.
• Heavy truck and diesel mechanics will accurately fill out all paperwork, such as state and emission inspection forms and repair details for work orders.
• Commitment to and observance of all industry and corporate safety regulations.
• The candidate needs dependable transportation and must possess adequate tools to perform responsibilities.

Requirements

• GED or high school graduation is recommended.
• Two years minimum of experience maintaining and repairing diesel engines in a heavy truck/fleet dealership or shop setting.
• It is desirable to have one or more factory-trained certifications.
• Must possess the necessary tools to service every system on diesel machinery.
• Knowledge of diesel engine diagnostics and troubleshooting, as well as air, emission, brake, and A/C systems
• Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to run diagnostic software and possess a current driver's license with a spotless driving record
• Must be able to pass background checks, MVR checks, and drug tests

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
