Job Summary
We are seeking experienced VOLVO PENTA and MAN Marine Diesel Service Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, extensive knowledge of marine diesel engines and heavy equipment, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of marine diesel-powered machinery and industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on VOLVO PENTA, MAN, JOHN DEERE, CUMMINS ONAN marine diesel engines and KOHLER generators, including electrical and mechanical systems
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and system inspections
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex issues
- Operate power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and other specialized machinery for repairs and fabrication
- Assist in assembly and equipment repair projects to improve operational efficiency
- Follow safety protocols during all repair activities and maintain a clean work environment
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs and maintenance needs
Skills
- Proven experience with VOLVO PENTA, MAN and JOHN DEERE marine diesel engines
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform maintenance, repairs, and overhauls
